I went to the park.

On Sunday morning my family and I drove in my van to the park in Kaikohe to have fun.

I felt really pumped when I got there.

When we got to the park we saw heaps of things to play on. “Hmmm.” I said to myself, “What should play on first?

The first thing I did at the park was play on the slide. It felt amazing when I was playing on the slide.

Next I went on the monkeybars. I was like a monkey climbing up a tree.     I said, “This is a wonderful day, Mum and Dad.” I felt really excellent.

After that I played in the sandpit. I was building heaps of things. I felt overjoyed. Then we went back home.

Playing  longball

On Sunday afternoon me and my two sisters and William and my brother were playing longball at home.

It was fun because you can run fast to catch the ball.  When it was my turn to hit the ball then I ran as fast as a racecar and William and my brother didn't get me because I was too fast. Then I ran back and they still didn't get me that’s how fast I was. I felt overjoyed.

After that my sister hit the ball. It went far. William ran to get it. He tried to shoot my sister when she was running but she was too fast.

That was the end of our game. It was fantastic.

My Speech 2017

Here I am delivering my speech at the Tautoro School Junior Speech competition.

The judges were marking me on showing confidence, good pace

and volume, speaking clearly, audience connection, use of gestures and timing.

I came 3rd equal for the Year 3's.

Recount Writing-Playing Rugby in Okaihau

Playing Rugby in Okaihau.

On Saturday morning my team Tautoro Titans and I played rugby in Okaihau.

Our first game was against Okaihau. I felt exceptional.  Okaihau had the ball first. They ran fast as but then Rangamarama tackled a boy. Rangamarama got the ball. He passed the ball to Andy.

Andy tried hard to score a try but the Okaihau team were too fast. Next we played Kerikeri. They were another fast team. They kept getting the ball and running fast to score goals. We couldn’t catch them.

We lost both of our games but I had fun because I tackled some people.
