Here is my Term 4 writing test result.
I am working at Level 2p. That means I am working just above my expected National Standard level in

Te Reo Maori: Kei te haere ... ki hea?

Tautoro School

At Tautoro School                                                                                                                   I think Tautoro School is cool because we get to dance with Whaea Dorothy. We also get to have sport with Matua Matt and we lean cool tricks. We also have Whaea Hilary to read books to her and Whaea Hera shows us how to grow plants and how to look after plants. We use our chromebooks to learn. We work hard to achieve our goals. Whaea Janet helps us with our spelling.

It is amazing at Tautoro School.

Seed to Feed

Seeds to feed.
In room 3 we have plants. We have tomato plants and squash plants and sweet corn and sunflowers and butternut plants and courgette plants and nasturtium plants and purple tansy plants and bok choy and clothes and slippers.

The things that you need for plants is fresh soil and water and air.
Now look at our plants. I hope we get $100 or more. I feel super happy. It is going to be cool because when we buy them we get to eat the yummy vegetables.

I am so proud of our class.  We grew these plants from seeds. It was very fun and easy to watch them grow.

Persuasive Writing-Kapahaka is important to learn.

WALT use the correct structure for Persuasive Writing.

Kapahaka is important to learn.

I think that kapahaka is important to learn.
First I think kapahaka is important because we learn how to keep the beat by doing the actions and waewae takahia.

Secondly I think kapahaka is important because so we can learn to sing in time and in tune.

Another reason why I think kapahaka is important is because we learn lots of different songs and actions.

Lastly I think kapahaka is important because it helps us to learn te Reo Maori when we sing Maori songs.

So that’s why I think kapahaka is important.

Market Day.

Look at the plants that my Mum and my Nan donated to Room 3's
stall for the Market Day.

My Nan knitted these slippers and donated them to
Room 3's Market Day stall.
